In below 0°c temperatures, freshly laid concrete does not bind completely and suffer mechanical damage afterwards. ELEKTRA BET heating cable is design to protect concrete from freezing temperatures during its curing process. ELEKTRA BET is a twin conductor heating cable that can be used on its own or with a controller, and it can be installed directly on reinforcement before laying down concrete. After curing process is complete the power supply cables can be cut off and the the heating cable becomes a part of the cement structure.
