S1401 is an epoxy primer used for 3 layer polyethylene coating systems for superior corrosion protection of field welded joints of steel pipes. S1401 can be used with Covalence® 3 layer coating systems: HTLP80-HB, HTLP60-HB,HTLP-PP, DIRAX-HB, RPS as the initial anti-corrosion layer or as wear cones in the PPS120 system.

It is used with a mixing ratio (by volume) of 5 parts of base (part A) to 1 part of hardener (part B).

It is available in 2 packings:

a) In a ready to use premeasured Kit of 0.5 Liters/0.13 Gallon

b) In standard 18 Liter pails
