The Polatis 6000 PSS Optical Switch provides protection against failure, loss or degradation of signal in a fiber optic network. The 6000-PSS protection switch can protect up to 16 transmission RX/TX line pairs in a compact 1RU space and uses less than 25 Watts. In addition, Polatis 6000-PSS switch supports manual and automatic protection switching and It can be used as a standalone protection switch or as a part of a high level network management system.
