Pipe Freeze Protection

XPI is a polymer insulated (PI) series heating cable,

suitable for use in hazardous areas (ATEX). It has been designed for use in freeze protection and temperature maintenance applications of pipes, tanks and other equipment. XPI is an economical solution for many heat tracing applications, especially for pipe lengths beyond the maximum circuit lengths of parallel heating cables (e.g. 250m).

It has been designed for use in freeze protection and temperature maintenance applications of pipes, tanks and other equipment. XPI-NH  is an economical solution for many heat tracing applications, especially for pipe lengths beyond the maximum circuit lengths of parallel heating cables (e.g. 250m).

The QTVR family of Raychem self-regulating electric heat trace cables

are designed for pipe heat tracing in industrial applications. QTVR heating cables can provide process temperature maintenance up to 225°F (110°C) and can also be used for pipe freeze protection in systems having high heat loss.

The Raychem KTV range of parallel, self-regulating trace heating cables is mainly used for process temperature maintenance of pipes and vessels that require steam cleaning, and for frost protection of systems with high heat losses (such as expanding gases).

Modular junction box for multiple-entry power connection

The JBU-100 box is designed to connect power to up to three Raychem BTV, QTVR, XTV, KTV or VPL industrial parallel heating cables. The JBU-100 box is part of a modular component system; it allows for maximum flexibility and can be either wall or pipe mounted. Connection kits (M25) and insulation entry kits have to be ordered separately.

The Raychem JBM-100 connection kit 

serves as a power connection, splice, or tee for up to three Raychem BTV, QTVR, XTV, KTV, or VPL industrial parallel heating cables. It is approved by FM, CSA, and PTB(1) for use in hazardous locations. Relevant applications include process temperature maintenance, process temperature maintenance and tank heating.

The Raychem JBS-100 connection kit is designed to connect power to a single Raychem BTV, QTVR, XTV, KTV, or VPL industrial parallel heating cable. It is approved by FM, CSA, and PTB for use in hazardous locations.

The MoniTrace 200N-E

is a multi-circuit control and monitoring system for heat-tracing used in process temperature maintenance and frost protection applications. It controls up to 130 heat-trace circuits in either surface sensing, ambient sensing or PASC.
